A Counter-Recession Motivation

Hi there, I’m Chris Reyes. What I’m blogging here is truly from the heart, and from my past experience of more than 25 years in the Hi-Tech industry, all over the world. I’m positive that my own story resembles YOUR OWN pretty much – employment through a blossom period, followed by a recession period. This blog is meant for those who WISH TO FIGHT their own RECESSION and succeed.

The recession that started on late 2007, stayed across 2008 and enters with us into 2009 is truly global; no one can miss that fact. However during the years of one’s employment there can be found few other recession periods (whether global, national, or private). Periods when you’ve gotta leave your workplace, regardless of what exactly caused that, and wonder to yourself: Hell, what am I gonna do now with my life? How can I keep my family’s way of living as similar as possible to what it used to be during the blossom period, so that they feel the recession minimally, and continue their peaceful lives?

But there’s more to it. There are many ways that you can decide to take to leave a temporal recession period in your life. Whether you thought of them by yourself and picked one, or you’ve assisted any private, local, municipal, state or federal agency or home business. Before attempting to take any of the paths, you must ask yourself one harsh question, to which only a true affirmative answer can lead you to believe that the rest of your life would be recession-free. And the question is: Can taking this path lead me in the near/mid/long-term to a recurrence of my current recession situation? To-wit, am I acting smart enough during THIS recession period to make it THE LAST ONE for myself and my family? Apparently, this tough quiz is gonna blow out 99% of the paths you could have thought of.

Because only when a path passes the quiz in flying colors, you can breath deeply and say YES! I’ll prevail this fight! I’ll be a true Recession Fighter, not only for this period, but potentially for a lifetime. Sure, you’re not a prophet, you can’t tell the future, but you can feel your hunch about it. Now accept it as a fact, or come visit this blog in the future, or even go read from the experience of others that went through similar situations; You can have a strong hunch about the success of a path to take ONLY when it involves either of the following actions: LEARNING, CHANGING, ADAPTING, DARING.

The key to understand: You cannot fight a potentially-recurring recession situation should you not recognize that the world of home work / business (surrounding you) has come to a sort of “dead end” for you.  Should you not act smartly but rather seek a similar working place to spend your hours in, doing a similar work that you experienced in, or learned to perform, or excelled in during past years – your fight won’t succeed. You’d merely replace one recession-PROVEN jobs with other recession-PRONE home jobs.
